Coral Passion is an emporium for high quality marine livestock, some regular customers literally come hundreds of miles to visit, whilst others live much closer.

The company has a vision to grow, make money and expertly care for all animals whilst providing great customer service. Our goal is to be the best marine livestock retailer in Europe.

I am always interested to hear from individuals who want to be part of this vision, working for a small successful growing company. Most importantly, you must love marine livestock and have a passion for the hobby that is reef-keeping.

  • A thirst to be better and positively react to feedback, having a willingness to improve
  • Various other duties as required to advance the business

Everyone employed at Coral Passion is on a self employed basis. You will be responsible for paying your own tax.

Remuneration is slightly above minimum wage and 25% staff discount is available on most products where possible (note this can’t always be done particularly on electrical goods). Staff discount is available after 6 calendar months of service.

Work frequency may be a few times per month or five days on some weeks during busy periods (if you’re available). You will be under no obligation to accept work and you are free to work on other contracts.

Our working week is Monday to Saturday.

We are currently looking for a new team member to initially work one to two days each week, based in our retail shop in Rettendon. Each shift there will be between two and three members of staff working – it is a small team. We would be looking to start you off working every Thursday one day a week, with a view to every Tuesday and Thursday eventually. Starting at 9:30am and working up to around 2pm. Candidates that can work later on occasions (up to 4pm or 5pm occasionally) and be flexible on work days, are more advantageous for the business needs.

Please research Coral Passion before approaching. For applicants who get shortlisted, we will need at least two references from previous/current employers, before we can consider you for work.

Interested candidates are encouraged to walk into Coral Passion and introduce yourself to Tony, for an informal conversation.
